Krasnodar, August 17 – Yug Times. European business circles are planning to open an engineering centre in Krasnodar.
The top managers of the Swedish-Swiss consortium ABB Ltd. are reportedly considering the regional capital as a potential ground for their new project.
ABB specializes on information technologies in electrical engineering and power machine building and is a leading supplier of power equipment and technologies for electric power industry and industrial automation.
“Certainly, we are interested in the development of hi-tech productions in the Krasnodar region,” said director of the regional Department of Investment and Development of Small and Midsize Entrepreneurship Vasili Shvets meeting with the ABB managers. “And of course we will do our best to have an engineering centre opened in the Kuban region.”
In their turn, ABB vice president Mikhail Akim and group vice director Gustav Greyling emphasized the importance of having highly qualified professionals to work in the centre.
