Krasnodar, August 23 – Yug Times. Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko has reportedly appointed a new Permanent Representative for what Russia considers its peninsula.
Mr. Poroshenko has instructed Boris Babin “to restore Ukraine’s sovereignty over the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea,” stated the official announcement placed on the Presidential website.
Mr. Poroshenko believes that Permanent Representative must pay peculiar attention to ensure legal defence of the state interests and ultimately achieve “the return of the confiscated property.” Mr. Babin was instructed to elaborate a package of amendments to the Constitution, however no details were provided.
“This decision means nothing for Crimea,” stressed vice chairman of the Crimean Parliament Remzi Ilyasov. “It will not affect the fates of Crimean residents".
