Krasnodar, September 2 – Yug Times. Krasnodar will adopt groundwork for organization of intraurban traffic developed by Japanese business circles. This fact was laid open to the public after an international meeting of Deputy Minister for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia Andrei Chibis and Deputy Minister for Lands, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan Koiti Yoshida held last week in Voronezh.
“The use of contemporary technologies allows to significantly increase the efficiency of urban infrastructure,” stressed Mr. Chibis.
Krasnodar Vice Mayor Yevgeni Zimenko, a member of the delegation of the Krasnodar region at the meeting with the Japanese delegation, announced that the Japanese specialists are prepared to propose to adapt their developments in traffic management, traffic centres and interchanges for Krasnodar.
“[Tokyo] has very high density of population, but urban traffic there is not exacerbated with jams,” noted Vice Governor Andrei Alekseyenko.
