Krasnodar, 22 November – Yug Times. “The Plan of activities to ensure economic growth and social stability” (this is the official name of the document) has fulfilled its main task: all segments of the Kuban economy have begun to show growth.
The regional Plan that was developed and approved in January 2015 included 77 activities in the real sector and social sphere to the total amount of financial backup of 14.2 billion rubles. Since then, both power officials and business circles have been submitting their proposals and amendments to the document.
The Plan has always been a public document. It has been supervised by Governor and the regional Ministry of Economy, but also by a number of public organizations, like the All-Russia Popular Front, and the regional Control and Audit Chamber.
The Plan has several thematic chapters: Activation of economic growth; Support of branches of industry; and Provision of social stability. Since it was first adopted, the document has been changed a couple of times, however its overall strategy has remained unchanged.
Its latest edition was adopted last February. Then the document consisted of 52 activities to the total amount of 7.8 billion rubles, of which only 8 activities were new.
“In 2015, it was a timely and necessary document that concentrated on the priority activities,” said regional Minister of Economy Aleksandr Ruppel. “All of them meant to support and stabilize the regional economy, help fulfill all social obligations before the socially vulnerable citizens, achieve budgetary equilibrium, and search for the new points of economic growth in conditions of economic recession.”
By now the document has fulfilled its core function — to be an efficient tool of elimination of negative consequences of the sanctions and economic crisis, stated Mr. Ruppel.
