Krasnodar, 6 December – Yug Times. Last week Krasnodar played host to YugAgro, one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in Russia.
The 65,000 sq m area of the Expograd Yug Exhibition Complex hosted stands of 670 companies from 32 countries of the world, including Germany, Italy, China and Turkey, and 44 producers and 60 suppliers from Krasnodar region. 250 companies were presenting agricultural machines — combine harvesters and tractors made by Rostselmash and CLAAS, agricultural machinery from KUHN and John Deere, and other equipment for different agricultural operations.
Speaking at the opening of the fair, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev stated that if the producers would prove that what they brought was high-quality machines good for the region, they would be able to find their buyers in Kuban and stay here for a long time.
The agenda of the business program of the fair consisted of 35 events — conferences, roundtables, seminars and presentations.
YugAgro Fair ended with the conclusion of several agreements. One of them was the cooperation contract signed between Krasnodar region and EuroChem (YevroKhim) Company, a major national manufacturer of mineral fertilizers. According to this contract, in 2018 the company will supply their products to Krasnodar region at reduced prices.
